Escrow & Transaction Data

EAG's escrow process requires the collection of detailed financial and identity information from both buyers and sellers. This data is treated with the highest level of confidentiality.

Transaction data is shared only with: the escrow provider holding funds, the financial institutions processing wire transfers, and any licensed title agent or shipping coordinator directly involved in completing the transaction.

Buyer identity is never disclosed to the seller, and seller identity is never disclosed to the buyer, unless both parties explicitly consent or it is required to complete the title transfer.

Data Sharing

EAG does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Escrow agents, title companies, logistics partners, and identity verification services engaged to complete your transaction
• Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or government authority in the United States or Canada
• Fraud prevention: When we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud or protect the rights or safety of EAG, users, or the public
• Business transfers: In connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of EAG's business, in which case users will be notified

All third-party service providers we engage are contractually required to handle your data securely and use it only for the specific purpose for which it was shared.

Communication Consent

By submitting an inquiry or intake form on the EAG platform, you consent to receive communications from our team via email and telephone related to your inquiry, active listings, or transaction status.

• Transaction records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years in compliance with financial and tax regulations applicable in the USA and Canada
• Identity verification documents: Retained for the duration of the transaction plus 3 years, then securely destroyed
• Website usage data: Aggregated analytics data retained indefinitely; individual session logs retained for 90 days
